Dear Sony AKA The Pleb Company...

So as you can see day three hasn't gone great!

• Once again I'm sick
• Only 24 hours till I'm back at work
• Currently hating my iphone
• Sony - Plebs

Right, well i figured this morning that i would drag my sorry ass out of bed and get myself to SONY and buy myself that camera i've been going on about.

First on the agenda was a nice cup of tea in my little Christmas mug, i'm extremely attached to it as it was a gift from my mate when we hit the Manchester Christmas markets last year! You see if i had my camera i could take a picture but i don't so onwards with the days events.
Seeing as i was venturing into town in my sick state i was accosted at the door and made to wait so Mamar and Papar could make the purchase of 2 sofas from guess where? "Laura Ashley" Yes thats right, the place we went to the other day and the other day and the week and month before that!!!!

Soooooo we arrived in town and i was instantly frog marched to Laura Ashley too spend a total of 2 hours looking at swatch books, thats right my virtual friends 2 whole hours of tatty pieces of cloth that have been over fingered, rubbed and i'm guessing maybe a small child chewed on one corner of  "Swatch Book 1" as there were very distinctive teeth marks, or i could be wrong and it could have been some one in the same situation as my Dad and I who just lost it and couldn't take any more swatches......anyway sofas are now purchased and we only have to wait 67 days for delivery :)

Moving on we went to the SONY Store

• Saw Camera
• Asked For Camera
• Cameras green, like a juicy green apple
• Purchased camera
• Camera Placed in small bag
• Leave Store

That sounds great right? Until i got home.....so excited about getting some cool pictures in this evening and taking my new camera to work i got my juicy green camera out and guess what?

• No cover film on any surface!
• Finger marks all over it!
• No setup/editing disc!
• No memory card!
• No manual!

In a calm rage i rang the store......

Shelly: Hello,i purchased a camera from yourselves to day and the following things are wrong and the following items are missing, please explain?
Pleb: Ah yes, was it the green one?
Shelly: Yes!
Pleb: Ah yes, that was the last one i had to take it off display but if you bring it in tomorrow we will swap it for you
Shelly: Fine,bye!

What's wrong with this picture people! I never got told it was an x-display item fingered by geeks and camera enthusiasts, Saturday children who have nothing to do but trundle the shops in order to pass the day, people who click all the buttons over and over, frantic and furiously only to say "I'll think about it"......i was fuming, how the hell did this information get lost in translation and more importantly where the hell was my discount??

I can only hope that the guy that sold me it ends up in hell being relentlessly poked with a large pointy stick held by a giant crab dressed in bondage wear being serenaded by singing ants with top hats and tap shoes! !!!TAP TAP TAP TAP TAP!!!

Its going back tomorrow to be swapped for a silver one unless i can find a better offer at some other shop on line :)
